Nepal Continues to Experience Rainfall; Heavy Rainfall Predicted in Some Areas

Kathmandu: Nepal is currently experiencing moderate to moderate rains in several regions, including Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces. The weather forecast division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology predicts the possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some parts of the country for the next three days.

Specifically, this afternoon, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as a few places in other provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely in a few places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province, with the potential for storms in some areas of the Tarai region in Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

Tonight, the forecast includes the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in a couple of places in Madhes, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
